RadialE3/L3/G3How to shortlist
Wheel loaders, scrapers, motor graders, road rollers, mining trucks, trenchers and port equipment each place different demands on an OTR tyre. Use the finder above to filter by application and operating condition, then compare the matching ranges side by side. For a broader view of how each worksite affects tyre selection, read the application notes for mining, quarry, construction and earthmoving operations.
TRA codes such as E-3/L-3, L-5, E-4, G-2/L-2 and C-1/C-2 describe the intended service and tread family of each pattern. A deep-tread code such as L-5 points to severe rock and cutting service, E-4-class patterns target mining and heavy haul duty, and G-2/L-2 or C-1/C-2 codes cover grader and compaction work. Treat the code as a starting point: load, speed, haul distance and surface condition decide the final fitment. The technology section explains how these operating inputs affect selection.
Narrow the shortlist by the exact tyre size and standard rim — catalogue sizes include 29.5-25, 26.5-25, 23.5-25, 20.5-25, 18.00-25, 14.00-24, 13.00-25, 12.00-20 and 10.00-20. Then prepare the data a supplier needs for a duty-cycle review: machine model, tyre position, load per tyre, maximum speed, one-way haul distance, daily operating hours, road condition, and the failure mode of the current tyre. See the 29.5-25 mining tyre selection guide for a worked example, or send your operating data for a selection review.
